Defining notification templates
Notification templates are associated
with a recipient category, a text, which is an email template, and one or more rules
determining when the notification is triggered.
- Select Learning and Development > Set Up > Notifications > Templates.
- Click Create.

Specify this information:
- Effective Date

Required. Specify the effective date.
- Notification Template

Required. Specify the name of the notification template.
- Description

Specify a description for the notification template.
- Recipient Category

Select the recipient category associated with the template.
- Preferred Email Language
- Select whether you want the email to display based on the manager or the employee locale.
- User Alerts
- Select this option to use alerts for this template.
- Active

The template is active by default. To inactivate the notification template, clear the check box. Inactive notification templates are not displayed lists.

Click Save.
The Text tab displays.
- To define a template text, click Create. See Defining notification text.
