Defining compliance components

Benefits administrators must first define the template for the benefits organization before generating compliance documents.

  1. Select Set Up > Organizations.
  2. Select an organization.
  3. Click the Main tab.
  4. Specify this information in the ACA Reporting – United States section:
    Annual Deadline for ACA Delivery Method Changes
    Specify a deadline of changes in the ACA delivery method. This field is used to determine who are included in the print-only CSV file.
    ACA Reporting
    Select the check box to activate reports for ACA.
    Standard 1095-B Template
    Use this template if the generated file has 18 covered individuals or fewer.
    Alternative 1095-B Template
    Use this template if the generated file has more than 18 covered individuals.
    Standard 1095-C Template
    Use this template if the generated file has 13 covered individuals or fewer.
    Alternative 1095-C Template
    Use this template if the generated file has more than 13 covered individuals.
    The standard template follows the IRS-defined template.
    The alternative template is a modified standard version with more covered individuals in a single document.
  5. Click Save.
