Standard time records and flex plans

A standard time record is created for unused flex credits that are taken as taxable income. When an employee is enrolled into a flex plan in which unused flex credits can be taken as taxable income, the time record is created and is considered a Benefit standard time record. These records are exported to payroll.

If employees can keep a percentage of their unspent flex credits as designated by the flex plan, when flex credits are created, the standard time record is also created for each employee. You should enroll employees in their benefits before the first payroll run of the flex plan year to offset the standard time record.
