Copying rate tables

You can copy a Rate Table or a Group Life Rate Table into a new table preserving all detail lines. Table Type, Table Basis, or Currency remain the same and cannot be changed. If a different Table Type, Table Basis, or Currency is desired, you must create a new table.

  1. Select Benefits > Set Up > Rate Tables.
  2. Click Actions > Copy.
  3. Specify this information:
    New Rate Table

    Specify an identifier for the new rate table.

    New Description

    Specify a description for the rate table. This description should be specific enough to differentiate this table from others.

    New Start Date

    Select the date on which this rate table is effective. The same rate table can have many start dates to accommodate rate changes.

  4. Click OK.
