Benefit plan updates process
If a benefit plan changes in the middle of the year, you can update the benefit for all employees, retirees, and COBRA participants enrolled in the plan with the Benefit Plan Updates action.
If a new contribution or coverage is added, the existing benefit is stopped as of the date before the change takes effect. The benefit is then re-added starting on the effective date of the new contribution or coverage.
You can run one update per plan at a time, and updates must be run in chronological order.
