Evidence of Insurability (EOI)
Evidence of Insurability (EOI), is the documentation of the good health condition of the employee and their dependents required for health coverage. EOI usually takes the form of a medical examination and is also known as proof of good health. Some benefit plans such as life and disability require such evidence for various reasons. You can define EOI rules on the coverage rules for a benefit plan that is of the Coverage Type of Coverage Amounts. You can also define EOI across plans.
When EOI is determined under one of the rules, the remaining rules, except Coverage Across Plans, are not evaluated.
