Reviewing adjustments

One Time Deductions and Time Record adjustments made by the system are in On Hold status. You can save, approve, or delete the adjustments. They must be reviewed and approved to interface to payroll. You can review and approve adjustments by opening the enrollment or by selecting the Adjustment Review menu item.

To view the variables used to create adjustments for a resource, select Payroll > Contributions > View Adjustment Variables in a resource's benefit plan.

  1. Select Benefits > Maintenance > Adjustment Review.
  2. The One Time Deductions tab shows all benefits one time deductions that are on hold. The Deduction Code is identified as Type = Benefits. Select the records to approve. Select records and then select one of these actions:
    • Save: Save changes that were made to Date, Amount, or Payment Description.
    • Approve: Once approved, a record no longer appears in this list. It is still accessible from the enrollment or from the interface (Benefits > Utilities > Interface > Export Records > One Time Deductions).
    • Delete: Deletes the adjustment.
  3. The Time Records tab shows all benefits time records that are on hold. Select records and then select one of these actions:
    • Save: Save changes that were made to Date, Amount, or Payment Description.
    • Approve: Once approved, a record no longer appears in this list. It is still accessible from the enrollment/flex benefit period (Benefits > Utilities > Interface > Export Records > One Time Deductions).
    • Delete: Deletes the adjustment.
  4. The Messages tab shows all benefit enrollment messages (from EmployeeBenefit) that have the status of Not Reviewed. Select records and then select one of these actions:
    • Reviewed: Changes the status to Reviewed and removes the message from the list. It can still be seen by opening the benefit enrollment.
    • Set All To Reviewed: Changes the status to Reviewed for all messages that have the status Not Reviewed.
    • Purge: Deletes the message.
  5. The Flex Messages tab shows all benefit period messages that have the status of Not Reviewed. Select records and then select one of these actions:
    • Reviewed: Changes the status to Reviewed and removes the message from the list. It can still be seen by opening the employee's flex benefit period.
    • Set All To Reviewed: Changes the status to Reviewed for all messages that have the status Not Reviewed.
    • Purge: Deletes the message.
