Methods to request leave of absence or time off

A resource can request a leave of absence, a time off, or compensatory time off from My Time. Requests are available to the Manager and Administrator. Infor Process Automation is used for routing and approval of time off or compensatory time off requests. Manual approval is also available. If the email rules are enabled for automatic emails and the email templates are created and assigned, an email notification is sent. Specific actions that are performed by the employee, manager, or administrator dictate the email notification that is sent. Email rules are used for Leaves of Absence and some time off, or compensatory time off request actions. The rules work in conjunction with the Infor Process Automation routing and approval.

When the Time Off request has been approved by the Administrator or Manager, the Employee Service Records are created to decrement the Absence Plan balances. Employee Time records are also created.

When compensatory time off requests are approved, transactions are created to increase the employee's available plan balance.

The service records and transactions that are created from approved time off and compensatory time off requests must be processed and closed. After the records and transactions are processed and closed, the plan balances are updated.

Viewing a resource's service records
