Enabling balances printing on payment output files
Use this procedure to enable the printing of balances for hours and earnings on paychecks.
- Select Absence Management > Set Up > Plans and Components.
- Click the Rules tab, and scroll to the Balance section.
- Open the balance rule to update.

On the Payment tab, specify the descriptions of the available hours or
earnings balances and whether to print them on the payment output file. Specify
this information:
- Available
- To print the available hours or earnings balance, specify the description to print next to the balance, and select the Print check box.
- Accrued
- To print the accrued hours or earnings balance, specify the description to print next to the balance, and select the Print check box.
- Reserve
- To print the reserve hours or earnings balance, specify the description to print next to the balance, and select the Print check box.
- Carryover
- To print the carryover hours or earnings balance, specify the description to print next to the balance, and select the Print check box.
- Allotment
- To print the allotment hours or earnings balance, specify the description to print next to the balance, and select the Print check box.
- Annual Used
- To print annual used hours or earnings balance, specify the description to print next to the balance, and select the Print check box.
- Annual Available
- To print annual available hours balance, specify the description to print next to the balance, and select the Print check box.
- Beginning Available
- To print the beginning available hours or earnings balance, specify the description to print next to the balance, and select the Print check box.
- Current Available
- To print the current available hours or earnings balance, specify the description to print next to the balance, and select the Print check box.
- Annual Adjusted
- To print the annual adjusted hours balance, specify the description to print next to the balance, and select the Print check box.
- Click Save.
- To view the rule setup and related tables, calculation and formula details, click the Rule Details button.
