Maintaining absences
The Administrator can access the Time Off and Leave Of Absence requests by selecting Maintain Absences.
- Absences by Resource shows absence plan balances, time off requests, compensatory time off requests, and leaves of absence. The Administrator can create and maintain Leaves of Absence, Time Off requests, and compensatory time off requests by resource.
- Time Off Requests shows all resource Time Off requests organized by Status: Draft (requested), Submitted, Submitted by Approval Group, Approved, and All. Canceled and Rejected requests are displayed on the All tab, and Approved requests. Administrators can manage Time Off Requests from this view.
- Time Off Approval Groups shows all submitted time off requests organized by approval group. These can have a status of In Progress, Completed, and Canceled. Each time off approval group is linked to one time off approval work unit.
- Compensatory Requests shows all resource compensatory time off requests. They are organized by status: Draft, Submitted, Submitted by Approval Group, Approved, and All. Canceled and Rejected requests are displayed on the All tab, and Approved requests. Administrators can manage compensatory time off requests from this view.
- Compensatory Approval Groups shows all submitted compensatory time off requests organized by approval group. These can have a status of In Progress, Completed, and Canceled. Each compensatory time off approval group is linked to one compensatory time off approval work unit.
- Leaves of Absence shows all leaves of absence requests organized by status: Pending (requested), Approved, On Leave, and History. Canceled, Rejected, and Completed leaves are displayed in the History tab.
- Restore FMLA Leave: Use to restore FMLA entitlement using the 12 month rolling calendar. Use Restored FMLA to view restored records and exceptions.
- Vacation Buy Sell: Use to allocate vacation hours that are bought or sold in a Benefit plan, create buy sell transactions, and view pending transactions, errors, and created transactions.
