Deciding which transfer option to use

This information contains examples to help you decide which transfer option to use:

• Mass Terminate: Use this action to end resources in the plan if a plan is being discontinued or divided. Resources are not moved to a new plan.
• Transfer Plans by Eligibility Group: If a plan is being discontinued or divided. Resources are moved to a new plan.
• Transfer Plans By Accrual End Date: Run this action if Recalculate Enrollments was run and resources were ended in one plan and added to another plan. In this example, balances exist on the ended plan and are transferred.
• Run Transfer Plans By Resource: To transfer resources from one plan to another when you only want to transfer part of the balances. You can change the dates or override tables.
