Step 1 Creating a new workflow: HR Extension Only - Delete, Extract and Publish

Create a new workflow to seed the HR-Source space with the extended field values. If an HR Extension Only - Delete, Extract and Publish workflow has been previously created with these steps, then skip to the next step.

  1. Access Birst.
  2. Select Admin > Select Orchestration.
  3. Select the + icon.
  4. Change the name of the workflow to something more descriptive by clicking the current name > editing the name. Select the green check mark to Save the change. For example, HR Extension Only - Delete, Extract and Publish workflow.
    1. Configure Step 1 - Select the icon to configure the step.
      Specify this information:
      Task Type
      Delete All Processed Data
      Space
      Select the HR-Model-Extension space
      Note: For the remaining configurations, do not use the All option. You can use the Select option and manually highlight the values as described for Configure Step 2 and Configure Step 3.
    2. Configure Step 2 - Select Add a new step.
      1. Select the + icon to configure the step.
      2. Specify this information:
        Task Type
        Extract
        Space
        HR-Model-Extension space
        Connection
        HCM Infor Data Lake
        Extraction Group
        Click the Select option, then click and highlight the HCM Extension Source
    3. Configure Step 3 - Select the Add a new step.
      1. Select the + icon.
      2. Specify this information:
        Task Type
        Publish
        Space
        Select the HR-Model-Extension space
        Publishing Group
        Click the Select option, then click and highlight these data sources:
        • 000 - Extension Sources
        • 100 - Extension Dimension
        • 200-000 - Process Variables
  5. Select Save to save the new workflow.
