Mass stop enrollments for faster processing

You can now stop multiple benefits at once with the Mass Stop Enrollments action. This action can be used to stop, delete, or stop and delete multiple benefits records on a specified date. It can be used for employee benefit, COBRA participant benefit, eligibility, and benefit plan records. This action is located in Benefits > Maintenance > Processes > Mass Stop Enrollments. The Employee Errors and Participant Errors tabs show errors that occurred when the action was run so they can be corrected for employees and COBRA participants. Select the Create Report action on this screen to perform the Mass Stop Enrollments action.

You can select the Create Transactions check box in the Mass Stop Enrollments action to create HIPAA 834 transaction records when this action is run on benefit records. You can select Create Employee Benefit Import Records to create employee benefit import records for each employee benefit record that is stopped. The start date of these records is one day later than the date specified in the Stop Date field. These import records can be used as templates for the creation of employee benefit records for employees affected by this action.

Administrators can make changes to the employee benefit import records in Utilities > Data Load Programs > Benefits > Employee Benefit Import. The Change Coverage Option can be used to change the coverage option for multiple records. Records are filtered based on their batch number, which is the same for all records created by one Mass Stop Enrollments action. The Set Coverage Amount action can be used to change the coverage amount of individual employee benefit import records.
