Resignations initiate transition programs

Administrators can now automatically assign a transition program in Transition Management as part of the resignation process used in Infor HR Talent. This feature enables organizations to obtain important information quickly and efficiently from employees before they leave the company.

Administrators can set up this feature by navigating to Transition Management > Setup > Transition Programs and opening the resignation program. They then select the Initiating Actions tab, click Create, and select Resign as the Transition Initiating Action.

This feature is activated when employees select Resignation from the More Actions menu in My Profile, select their Anticipated Last Day, and a Reason for the resignation.

Administrators can then view the resignation request in the Pending Action Requests list on the Open tab of their Action Requests screen. They can approve the request by right-clicking it and selecting Manual Complete. After their request is approved, employees can view their transition programs on the My Programs panel in Employee Transition Programs, which is accessed from the left menu. Employees are guided to complete their offboarding tasks when they click Start on the resignation program in the My Programs panel.

Administrators can view pending Resource Resignation Transition Programs on their Dashboard in Transition Management.
