Configurable job sharing options

When using Candidate Experience, administrators can now select which job sharing options are available to candidates on their career site. These selections are made on the job board setup of external and third party job boards. Candidates can share through Facebook, Twitter, by email, or by copying a link.

To prevent system slowness, the Create Transition Program and Assign Screening Packages actions now run in the background when triggered as hiring workflow step automations.

Job sharing with email

External candidates can now forward job postings by email from within the Candidate Experience by specifying the email address of the recipient. The email subject and body is then populated with the job title and link to the job posting, respectively.

Text variables for experience in job posting templates

New text variables for Experience qualifications have been added to the job posting template setup in Talent Acquisition > Template Setup > Job Posting Templates. Administrators can now select Experience and Experience Specialization as text variables. These variables are selected from the Text Variable Replacement menu that is displayed when administrators click on the ellipses menu in the Posting Text section.

Equivalent qualifications factored into fit calculations

Equivalent qualifications defined for a position are now considered during fit calculation. If a candidate does not have a qualification for a position, but has an equivalent qualification, they are displayed as a match.

Restriction for Do Not Hire

The Do Not Hire and Reason fields displayed when a candidate is dispositioned are now available only to recruiters and recruiter administrators. They are no longer available to hiring managers when they disposition candidates to a workflow step. This change was made because hiring managers are often unaware that Do Not Hire applies to the candidate as a whole. It does not apply only to a specific job application.

User experience enhancements for requisition screens

The All Requisitions screen has been enhanced with more visually appealing status indicators and less redundant labeling.

The My Requisitions screen for hiring managers has been enhanced to include icons, color and bold text to facilitate quick review and navigation.

Administrators can now view the active job requisitions associated with a position on the Job Requisitions tab of the position. Active job requisitions include those in the Draft, Approval Requested, Pending, Open, and Filled state. Using this screen, administrators can view active job requisitions before making any adjustments to associated positions.

Specify your interview availability

Employees, such as hiring managers and recruiters, can now specify the days and times they are available to conduct or participate in interviews. First, they must share their calendar by selecting To Do > Interview Team Setup > Share My Calendar. On the Share My Calendar screen, they would select Set My Availability Rules. In the calendar that is displayed, they can block off time in which they are available and unavailable for interviews. After availability has been modified, they would click Save new rules.

Additional fields for Recruiting Partner API

Additional fields pertaining to skills have been added to the CandidateList.xml user template. This template is used in the retrieval of candidate data from the API. These fields have been added:
  • ID
  • Description
  • Source
  • Validated
  • ValidationDate
The Recruiting Partner Applications API now includes these fields for candidate creation:
  • PreferredGivenName
  • IdentificationNumber
  • IdentificationNumberCountry
  • Skills
