Adding tasks to transition programs
You can add tasks to programs as stand-alone tasks and as prerequisite tasks. A prerequisite task is a task that must be completed before another task can be addressed. A stand-alone task does not have dependent tasks. When you add a task, you can specify a prerequisite task. You can also indicate that the task does not have a prerequisite. If the task that you add to a program has a prerequisite attached to it, then that prerequisite is added to the program, too.
A task group or a role is assigned to a task when the task is added to the transition program. When task groups are used, administrators who are members of the assigned task group can assign the task to themselves. When roles are used, administrators who were assigned the role that is assigned to the task can assign the task to themselves.
