Configuring tasks to collect attachments

  1. Select Administrator > Transition Management > Setup > Tasks.
  2. Select a task or create a new task. You can enable attachments only for task types of content, instructions, and most forms.
  3. Specify this information:
    Collect Attachments
    Select to enable attachment collection for tasks.
    Require Attachment Type
    Select to enable that attachment is required. This option is only available when Enable Attachment Types is turned on for the Organization. When Require Attachment Type is turned on for the task, an Attachment Type must be provided for each entered attachment in order to complete the task.

    Attachment Instructions
    Specify instructions for the user regarding the attachment. For example, specify that the user upload an employment history.
    Number Of Attachments Displayed
    Specify the number of attachments that is shown to the user. The maximum value for this field is five.
    Number Of Attachments Required
    Specify the number of files that the user is required to attach to the task.
  4. Click Save.
