Transition programs

Transition programs consist of transition tasks that are performed by candidates, resources, or administrators. Programs can be targeted to specific audiences. For example, a candidate for hire is subject to a different transition process than a transferring employee. You can set up a transition program that includes tasks that are used to transition a new hire. You can set up another program that includes tasks that are used to transition a transferring resource. Some of the tasks can be shared, but some may be applicable to one program and not the other.

Alternatively, you can configure a single program and use custom groups to restrict certain tasks to only apply to one group or another.
