Updating transition programs

You can change the description of a transition program. You can add or remove tasks from the program, but you cannot update a task.

  1. Select Administrator > Transition Management > Setup > Transition Programs.
  2. On the Transition Program panel, open the program to update or click Actions > Update.
  3. Perform these changes:
    • To change the transition program description, change the Active status, add the changes, and click Save.
    • To add a task, on the Transition Tasks tab, click New, select the task in the Transition Task field, and save. The task and any prerequisite tasks that are associated with it are added to the task set.

      If the task does not have a prerequisite task, then you can add a prerequisite task for the task set. Alternately you can select an another prerequisite task. Any prerequisite task that you select must already be in the task set.

    • To remove a task, select the task, click Delete, and click Yes to confirm.
      Note: You can remove a task that has a prerequisite task, but you cannot remove a task that is required by another task. For example, you can remove Assign Parking even if it has a prerequisite task of Assign User Name. You cannot remove Assign User Name because it is a prerequisite to several of the tasks in the task set. You must delete all dependent tasks that have Assign User Name as a prerequisite before you can delete Assign User Name.
