Transition email templates

You can create and edit templates that managers and administrators can use when they send emails through the system. As the creator of a template, you can specify individual elements that template users can edit before sending an email. You can also protect other elements so that they cannot be edited.

The best practice is to create transition email templates first before you define other transition management data.

Transition email templates are used to automate email messages to candidates, resources or administrators. Templates aid in the standardization of communication and save time and effort. Instead of starting a new email from scratch, a user can select a template for an often-repeated message, optionally edit the message, and send it. Transition Management supplies a library of email templates for standard email automations. These delivered email templates can be used without changes, modified to meet your requirements, or deleted. New email templates can be created.

Because candidate and resource data are stored separately, email templates must be maintained separately to ensure that the correct variables are available for each type. It is important when setting up templates that variables that are used be considered based on the timing and intended usage of the template.
