Defining Do Not Hire action reasons

A recruiter can tag any candidate with a Do Not Hire label. This is to provide a warning to other recruiters. Recruiters who flag a candidate as Do Not Hire are required to provide a reason.

  1. Sign in as Administrator and select Talent Acquisition > Code Setup > Do Not Hire Reasons.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Effective Date

    Specify the date when the Do Not Hire reason becomes effective.

    Candidate Do Not Hire Reason

    Specify the Do Not Hire reason code. This is a unique code that cannot be changed. It is displayed when recruiters moves the pointer over the red alert next to flagged candidates.

    Description

    Specify a long description of the Do Not Hire reason.

    Active

    The Do Not Hire reason is active by default. To inactivate it, clear the check box. Inactive Do not Hire reasons are not shown on some lists.

  4. Click Save.
