Requesting offer reviews

Use this process to send a job offer to candidates for review. The email contains instructions to accept or decline the offer.
  • External candidates can accept or decline their offer by clicking a link in the email.
  • Internal candidates can accept or decline their offer by clicking a link on the All Notifications page.
  1. Define the offer.
    1. On the Recruiter > Requisitions form, select a requisition.
    2. Right-click a candidate and select Define Offer.
    3. On the Define Offer form, define the offer. The offer status is set to Defined.
  2. Submit the offer for approvals, if applicable.
    When the offer is approved, the offer status changes from Defined to Approved. The status changes only if approvals are set up and required.
  3. Select Recruiter > Requisitions.
  4. Select a requisition.
  5. Right-click a candidate and select Create Offer Letter.
    The offer status changes to Created.
  6. Select the attachment.
    1. Select Recruiter > Requisitions.
    2. Select a requisition and double-click the candidate to view the candidate job application.
    3. On the application, click Attachments.
    4. Find the attachment for the offer letter PDF in the list and click Send Email.
  7. Select the email template.
    • For external candidates, select the email template that contains the {link} variable in the email body.
    • For internal candidates, select the email template without a link that directs them to check their system notifications. The system notification includes a link to the offer review page.
  8. Select the Request Offer Review check box.
    If the Request Offer Review check box is not displayed, verify these criteria:
    • The offer is in a Created status.
    • The email template has the {link} variable for external candidates.

    The Request Offer Review check box is only displayed if the person who signed in is not listed as the hiring manager on the requisition to which the candidate applied. If they are listed as the hiring manager on the requisition, they must be listed as the recruiter on that requisition.

  9. Save the email.
  10. Send the email.

    The offer status changes to Extended.

    External candidates can click the Request Offer Review link in the email to access the Candidate Space.

    Internal candidates can click the link in the notification to access the Candidate Space.

    Candidates can accept or reject the offer. They can electronically sign if your company has set up electronic signatures.
