Defining self identification configurations

Use this procedure to define the self identification configurations used by your organization.

To define a self identification configuration

  1. Access Administrator > Talent Acquisition> Code Setup > Self Identification > Configurations.
  2. Click New.
  3. On the Self Identification Configuration form, use the following guidelines to specify field values.
    Effective Date

    Specify the effective date for the configuration

    Self Identification Configuration

    Required. Type the name of your self-identification configuration.

    Description

    Type the description of your self-identification configuration.

  4. Click Save.
  5. Add the components that should be included in the configuration. Repeat these steps until you have added all components.
    1. On the Configuration Options tab, click New.
    2. On the Configuration Setup form, use the following guidelines to specify field values.
      Effective Date

      Specify the effective date when the component is added.

      Self Identification Component

      Select the self identification component to include in the configuration.

      Is a Response Required?

      If you select yes, then the candidate will be required to respond to the question.

      The default is No.

      Use for Internal, External, or Both

      Indicate whether this question is shown on internal candidate applications only, external candidate applications only, or both.

      The default setting is both.

    3. Click Save.
