Enabling approver templates

Approver templates can be defined to create a set of approvers that can be easily defaulted to a requisition and used for an approval process. This eliminates the extra time needed to recreate the list of approvers for each approval process. Recruiter administrators and HR administrators have full access to create, update, delete and copy approver templates and approvers. Recruiters, hiring managers and HR generalists can view the approver templates and the approvers attached to an approver template.

Select Talent Acquisition > Primary Setup > Organization Configuration.
Select an organization.
Click Features.
In the Multiple Approver Templates area, specify this information:

Enable Configurable Approver for Requisition

Select to permit recruiters and hiring managers to configure requisition process flows using a user-defined approver process. If the check-box is set to true, then an offer approver template is required when creating or updating a requisition. If the check-box is cleared, then the requisition is routed to the hiring manager followed by the approvers that are defined on the requisition. If the action was initiated by the hiring manager, then the requisition is routed to the first approver.

Enable Configurable Approver for Offer

Select to permit recruiters and hiring managers to configure offer process flows using a user-defined approver process. If the check-box is set to true, then an offer approver template is required when creating or updating a requisition. If the check-box is cleared, then the offer is routed to an HR administrator or hiring manager..

Enable Configurable Approver for Hire Type Action

Select to permit recruiters and hiring managers to configure hire process flows using a user-defined approver process. If the check-box is set to true, then a hire type action approver template is required when creating or updating a requisition. If the check-box is cleared, then the approval for hire is routed to an HR administrator or hiring manager..
