Assigning disposition reasons to workflow steps

As part of workflow step setup, administrators can specify the disposition reasons that are available to recruiters and hiring managers in each disposition workflow step. Recruiters and hiring managers can then apply one of the available reasons to a workflow step. If no disposition reasons are specified during workflow step setup, then all disposition reasons are available to recruiters and hiring managers.

An organization can include more than one disposition step in a workflow. The reasons for disposition may change as a candidate moves through the hiring process. Administrators can assign different disposition reasons for each disposition step in a workflow.

  1. Sign in as Administrator and select Talent Acquisition > Workflow Setup > Hiring Workflows.
  2. Open a hiring workflow and select the Workflow Steps tab.
  3. Open a workflow step and select the Disposition Reasons tab.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Specify this information:

    Select a disposition reason.
    Description
Specify a description of the disposition reason.
  6. Click Save.
  7. To unassign a disposition reason from the workflow step, select it and click Delete.
