Configuring percent fit calculation and display rules

Percent fit rules are used in Talent Acquisition to determine which candidate qualifications are included in calculations of their fitness for a position. Candidate qualifications are compared with those required for the position for which they applied or are being considered. A percent fit is then computed based on whether the candidate has the qualifications listed for the position. The fit analysis is displayed on the Talent Profile tab of the candidate or resource record.

The percent fit for new job applications is calculated automatically using the current settings. If you change the settings, you might be required to recalculate the percent fit for existing job applications.

  1. Sign in as Administrator and select Set Up > Structure > Organizations.
  2. Open the organization for which to set percent fit rules.
  3. Select Qualifications Fit.
  4. In the Talent Acquisition section, select your Talent Acquisition percent fit rules.

    Other fields on this screen apply to Infor HR Talent and Succession Management. For a description of these fields see the Infor HR Talent Setup and Administration Guide.

    You must select at least one of these qualification types for percent fit calculations to occur. You can select all four.

    Competencies And Skills

    Select this option to include competencies and skills in percent fit calculations.

    Education

    Select this option to include education in percent fit calculations.

    Credentials

    Select this option to include credentials in percent fit calculations.

    Experience

    Select this option to include experience in percent fit calculations.

    Essential Only

    Select this option to include only the qualifications flagged as essential for the position in percent fit calculations.

    Minimum and Maximum Range For Qualifications Fit Progress Bar

    Specify the minimum and maximum percent of the percent fit progress bars. For example, specify 75% to 100% for Green for the progress bars to be displayed in green for candidates with that percent fit range.

    These selections apply to percent fit progress bars in other Infor HR Talent applications.

  5. Specify the effective date of these changes.
  6. Click Save.
