Talent agreements

Talent Acquisition uses the same talent agreement form to define a consent agreement or an acknowledgment. For each requisition, the recruiter can select two of each: one for external candidates, and one for internal candidates.

The consent agreement form is the first page that the candidate sees when applying for a job.

The acknowledgment form is the last page the candidate sees before submitting the application. Both forms require the candidate to agree to the terms described in the form before they can proceed. The candidate must select a check box or specify an electronic signature. If no consent agreement form or acknowledgment form is selected on the requisition, the job application process bypasses those steps. For example, you may want a consent agreement for external candidates to agree to a background check, but this may not be applicable to internal candidates that were already checked when they were first hired.

The system does not differentiate a consent agreement from an acknowledgment, so it is up to your organization to clarify how these forms are used. For example, a consent agreement form could be used to ask a candidate to consent to a screening, such as a criminal background or credit check. An acknowledgment could be used to ask candidates to attest to the accuracy of the information they provide in the application.

The recruiter administrator can define multiple consent agreement and acknowledgment forms to meet the needs of different jobs, and of internal versus external candidates. Your organization's legal department is likely to be involved in formulating the exact text of the forms.
