Examples of workflow routing based on group eligibility

Example 1

In this example, candidates are routed to workflow steps based on a Talent Science result. When the candidate applies online and job applications is placed in the Applied workflow step:
  • Job applications with a Talent Science result of Recommended are routed to a workflow step called Assessed-Recommended.
  • Job applications with a Talent Science result of Not Recommended are routed to a disposition workflow step called Not Selected-Not Qualified.
To accomplish this, two eligibility groups must be created:
  • One group includes candidates who have recommended status with Talent Science.
  • One group includes candidates who have a not-recommended status with Talent Science.
When the groups have been set up, the workflow steps can be configured. In Applied step, which is the step that the job applications when the candidate applies online, create two Move To Step automations:
  • In one automation, specify the Talent Science Assessment Result of Recommended as the eligibility group whose members are routed to the Assessment Recommended step.
  • In the other automation, specify the Talent Science Assessment Result of Not Recommended as the eligibility group to route to the disposition step.
Automation settings for the Applied step that route eligible users to the Assessed-Recommended step:
  • Run Order=1
  • Workflow action= Move to Step
  • Run Upon= ing step
  • Eligibility Group= RECOMMENDED
Automation settings for the Applied step that route eligible users to the Not Selected-Not Qualified step:
  • Run Order=1
  • Workflow action= Move to Step
  • Run Upon= ing step
  • Eligibility Group= NOT-RECOMMENDED

Example 2

In this example, online job applications that are screened out are routed to the "Not Considered" workflow step. From that step, external job applications remain in the step, and internal job applications are immediately routed to an alternative step:
  • External applications remain in the Not Considered step to complete the step.
  • Upon ing the Not Considered step, internal applications are routed to the Employee Screenout step.
To accomplish this, one eligibility group must be created:
  • The group includes internal candidates.
When the group has been set up, the workflow step can be configured. In the Not Considered step, which is the step that the job applications when they have been screened out, create a Move To Step automation:
  • Specify the internal candidate group as the eligibility group whose members are routed to the Employee Screenout step. Set the Run Order to 1, so candidates are immediately moved out of the Not Considered step.
Automation settings for the Applied step that route eligible users to the Assessed-Recommended step:
  • Run Order=1
  • Workflow action= Move to Step
  • Run Upon= ing step
  • Eligibility Group= INTERNAL CANDIDATE
