System-defined variables in offer letter paragraphs
When constructing the paragraphs that comprise offer letter templates, system-defined variables can be used in the body of the paragraphs. For example, Candidate Full Name may be inserted as a variable to populate the paragraph with the actual candidate full name in the final offer letter. Similarly, Employment Start Date, Position or Hiring Manager may be used as variables to populate the paragraph with the candidate’s start date, the job title for the requisition that candidate is filling or the hiring manager’s full name in the final offer letter.
System-defined variables for offer allowances can be used in an offer letter. For example, offer allowances can be items like cars, cell phone, housing, or relocation allowances. Or they can be services like child care. Allowance types are user-defined. Up to ten allowances can be entered for an offer. See Configuring variables for offer letter paragraphs.
System-defined variables for other pay rate items can be used in an offer letter. For example, a healthcare company may have a higher pay rate item for employees who have master’s degrees. The use of other pay rates varies per organization. Up to five other pay rate items can be added.
