Advanced interview scheduling
Advanced interview scheduling is available in Talent Acquisition. This feature is available only to multi-tenant customers and requires Configurable Hiring Workflow. These calendar platforms are supported:
- On-premises and Cloud
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Office 365
- Microsoft Exchange
- Apple iCloud
Using this feature, recruiters can view the real-time availability of interview team members based on availability rules setup. Before their real-time availability for an interview can be displayed, the interview team must share their calendars with the system in .
An Application Key and Application Secret are used to enable communication between your organization and Cronofy, the calendar connecting service. The Application Key is a public key that identifies your organization to the service. The Application Secret is a private key that identifies your organization to the service. The Application Secret key is encrypted. The Application Key and Application Secret are provided by the service and generated automatically upon clicking on the Configure Interview Scheduling window. Credentials can be entered manually on an exception basis if needed.
As part of the enablement of advanced interview scheduling, the application is verified by the calendar connecting service. This process makes a webservice call that whitelists urls that can be redirected to Infor when a calendar is shared and moves an application to production mode.
Verification is automatically performed when an application's credentials are auto-generated by clicking on the Configure Interview Scheduling window. If this process is not completed successfully, a yellow warning box is displayed during the sharing of a calendar that reads: Warning! This application has not been verified.
If auto-generation of credentials is bypassed for any reason, the Verify Interview Scheduling Application action must be taken on the InterviewSchedulingConfiguration business class.
