Candidate transition

If your organization is configured to interface with Transition Management, then candidates might be eligible for transition programs:

  • preboarding programs are for US external candidates that have accepted an offer
  • onboarding programs are for internal and external resources who have been hired

Organizations use transition programs to gather information from candidates and resources and to present information like policies and practices. Transition programs include series of tasks that the candidate or resource and administrators complete. Transition programs can be configured to be triggered by actions within Talent Acquisition, like accept offer and hire. Preboarding and onboarding programs are independent of one another and can be used concurrently. When a candidate accepts an offer that triggers a preboarding program, the candidate receives an automated email that includes a link to the preboarding program. When an onboarding program is triggered for a resource, the resource receives an automated email that includes instructions for self-service access.

Transition programs are configured within the Transition Management module. Administrators can monitor transition program progress and other aspects of automated transitions through the module.

Note:  Transition Management must be configured in order for candidates and resources to have access to transition programs.
