Defining job application wizard text

Use this procedure to define customized text that will appear on specific pages of the candidate's job application wizard.

To define job application wizard text

  1. Access Administrator > Talent Acquisition > Code Setup > Configurable Text Setup > Job Application Wizard Text.
  2. Click New.

    On the Candidate Wizard Text Setup form, use the following guidelines to enter field information.

    Text For

    Select the section of the job application wizard where you want the heading and text to appear. For more information on the field values, see Text For values.

    Note: 

    You can define only one wizard text instance for any Text For value.

    Wizard Header

    Enter a heading. The heading will appear bold on the page.

    Note: 

    You can enter both a heading and text or you can enter either a heading or text.

    Wizard Text

    Enter text. The text will appear as normal paragraph text.

    Note: 

    You can enter both a heading and text or you can enter either a heading or text.

  3. Click Save.
  4. Repeat for each section to which you want to add text.

Text For values

Note: 

Candidates can change their profile information for a specific job application. The text you define will appear only on the pages they add or update during the course of applying for a job.

Value Description
Consent The text will appear on the job application wizard Consent page.
Contact Information The text will appear when the candidate updates contact information for the job application.
Preferences The text will appear when the candidate updates preferences for the job application.
Profile Employment The text will appear when the candidate adds or updates employment information for the job application.
Profile Education The text will appear when the candidate adds or updates education information for the job application.
Profile Skills The text will appear when the candidate adds or updates skills information for the job application.
Profile Credentials The text will appear when the candidate adds or updates credentials information for the job application.
Profile Achievements The text will appear when the candidate adds or updates achievement information for the job application.
Profile Attachments The text will appear when the candidate adds an attachment to the job application.
Acknowledgment The text will appear on the job application Acknowledgment page.
Self Identification The text will appear on the job application Self Identification page.
Summary The text will appear on the job application summary page.
Profile References The text will appear on the job application References page.
Preview The text will appear on the job application Summary page that is presented to the candidate before submitting the job application.
Review Profile (Internal Only) The text will appear when an internal candidate applies for a job and clicks View to view his or her existing profile.
Alter Profile (Internal Only) The text will appear when an internal candidate applies for a job and clicks Update to update his or her existing profile.
Offer Review This text will appear on the Offer review form that appears when an internal candidate opens a job offer notification or an external candidate clicks the Review Offer link on a job offer email and logs in to Career Space.
Application Limit

This text will appear on the candidate's job description page if candidates try to apply for a job when they have reached the maximum number of job applications. You can use variables in the text to display the candidates current number of job applications and the job application limit the candidate is subject to.

Note: 

If you enter an Application Limit value on a job board and do not define configurable text for Application Limit, the system will display a default message whenever candidates reach their job application limit.
