Elements of configurable job application

The feature includes important elements that are configured by a setup administrator. Details about each of these elements is included in other topics.
  • The job application process: This is the entire experience, from start to finish, that guides a candidate or resource through the hiring process. Every other element listed here is a part of this overall thing. The job application process itself is assigned to a job requisition.

  • Tasks: A task is like a step in the overall job application process. It can have one of several purposes, such as collecting candidate information in a form or making an attached file available. A candidate must complete all tasks that are available to him to complete the job application process.

  • Eligibility groups: The availability of tasks can be restricted to specific candidates. This is done by creating groups that are based on one or more criteria, like location and job level. The task is assigned to a group, and only the candidates who are members of the group have access to the task.

  • Calculation methods: A calculation method is used to define the time parameters of a task. Calculation methods are used to trigger events. For example, the calculation method 5 Days After Task Assign can be used to trigger a process or another task five days after the task was assigned to a candidate. Administrators can use standard calculation methods, and they can create custom calculation methods and assign them to tasks as well.

  • Automated email notifications: Automations can be added to your application process. These send emails to candidates when the application process begins and when it is completed. Automated reminders that are related to tasks can be sent, based on the details of the application process.
