External job board setup

Administrators can configure external job boards, such as corporate web sites, and third-party job boards, such as Indeed and LinkedIn, in Talent Acquisition. These types of job boards are configured using the Candidate Experience, Candidate Space, or Career Space:
  • Candidate Experience: Settings are configured in the user interface. This is the easiest and preferred method for configuration. This method is available to customers using Infor HR Talent Customer Update 37, also known as 2021.04, or newer.
  • Candidate Space: Settings are configured by editing .HTML files within the CandidateSpace.zip file that are uploaded to the job board. Customers download the .zip file from the Infor Support Portal, edit the files within it, compress the files into a .zip file again, and upload it to a job board. This method is available to customers using Infor Global HR version 11.0.33, also known as 2020.11, or newer.
  • Career Space: Settings are configured in the Infor Landmark Technology source file or the welcome.zip file. This method is available to customers using Infor Global HR version 11.0.32, also known as 2020.10, or older.

Job boards that are configured using the Candidate Experience can be used concurrently with job boards that are configured with the Candidate Space. However, we recommend that customers use only the Candidate Experience and convert existing job boards to the Candidate Experience.

Examples:
  • Customers can run one external job board that is configured with Candidate Experience and one external job board that is configured with the Candidate Space.
  • Customers can run one external job board that is configured with Candidate Experience and continue to use the Candidate Space on the same job board. They do this by converting the job board created with the Candidate Space to work with the Candidate Experience. In this example, candidates can continue to use the original links without error.

Customers who use the Candidate Experience and Candidate Space concurrently must continue to update the CandidateSpace.zip on a monthly basis with each new Customer Update.

Candidate Experience requirements:
  • Use of the Configurable Job Application on all posted jobs
  • SoHo 4 UX web interface
We recommend the Candidate Experience for these purposes:
  • Creating a new job board
  • Updating a job board that was originally created with the Candidate Experience and not retaining the job board URLs
  • Updating a job board that was originally created with Candidate Space and retaining job board URLs while using the Candidate Experience URL for new postings
Candidate Space requirements:
  • A basic understanding of Cascading Style Sheets and Javascript, including Javascript objects and basic JSON
  • Monthly maintenance is recommended

We recommend that customers use Candidate Space only when the Configurable Job Application and SoHo 4 UX web interface are not implemented.

Career Space requirements:
  • Working knowledge of web page design, HTML, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
