Workflow changes

When a job requisition uses a configurable hiring workflow, the hiring workflow steps are attached to the requisition at the time the requisition is approved. Changes to the hiring workflow are implemented as described here.

Updating Workflow Steps

Updates made to workflow steps within the workflow are updated on all requisitions, when the workflow is being used and when the workflow is not being used.

Updates include items such as changing a step description, adding new automations to be run when the candidate enters or leaves a step, changes to filtering for communication categories, and other updates to the steps.

Inactivating Workflow Steps

When workflow steps within a workflow are inactivated, there is no impact to requisitions that are using the workflow. The inactivated steps remain on existing requisitions using the workflow. Requisitions created or approved after the step has been inactivated do not contain the inactive workflow step.

Adding Workflow Steps To Workflows

With versions 11.0.2 and later, users can add workflow steps to workflows that are already in use. Users can use criteria to specify requisitions to which an added workflow step is pushed. If the user does not specify requisitions, then the workflow step is added to all requisitions that are associated with the workflow.
