Creating an attachments task

Use this task type to collect files from applicants. For example, the task can be used to require an applicant to attached a resume, cover letter, or DOT form to the task. This task can include instructions, a minimum number of required attachments, an acknowledgment, and acknowledgment text.

  1. Select Talent Acquisition > Application Setup > Tasks.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Task
    Specify the name of the task.
    Description
    Specify a description of the task.
    Task Type
    Specify Attachment.
    Active
    Select this option to make the task active in the system. Inactive tasks are not shown in lists.
    Attachment Instructions
    Specify instructions for the user regarding the attachment. For example, specify that the user upload an employment history.
    Require Attachment Type
    This option is available when Enable Attachment Types is enabled for the organization and when the Collect Attachments option is selected for the task. Select this option to require applicants to attach files that meet the predefined file type requirements. The applicant must submit an attachment of each required type to complete the task.

    Number Of Attachments Required
    This option is available when Collect Attachments is selected for the task. Specify the number of files that the user is required to attach to the task. The maximum value for this field is five.
    Include Acknowledgment Text
    Select this option to include an acknowledgment in the task.
    Acknowledgment Text
    Specify instructions or other information. This option is available only when the Include Acknowledgment Text option is selected.
    Include Signature
    Select this option to include a signature in the task.
    Signature Required
    Select this option to require the applicant to provide an acknowledgment signature. This option is available only when the Include Signature option is selected
  4. Click Save.
