Landmark Embedded Analytics cubes differ from other reports in these major areas:
  • The data displayed is not real-time data. It is the data as it stood when the analytics cube was last refreshed. A process must be set in place by your organization to have a system administrator schedule refreshing the cube as often as it makes sense for your organization. Cubes can also be refreshed on demand.

  • By default, the cube displays data for the current period. To view data for a previous or future period, click the period that displays, and click the - button to access a past period or click the or + button to access a future period.

  • The left-most column contains the cube dimension or dimensions. For example, hiring manager and location. Each cube has default dimensions. Click Dimensions to view the dimensions that you can use. Click the > arrow to add a dimension and the < arrow to remove a dimension. Click Reset to reset the dimensions. Use the Move up and Move down buttons to reorder the dimensions. The system automatically resets the dimensions to their original values when you leave the form. The other columns represent measures for the dimensions. For example, the total number of requisitions for a location.

  • Some measure values have links that bring up a list. This list represent real-time data. So it is possible that the total number of records may not correspond to the record count that displays on the cube, if the data changed after the cube was refreshed.

  • Some of the cubes have graphic representations. The graphics are not interactive; they do not give you access to more detailed data.

  • If you have Personalize security, you can change both the dimension defaults and the measures that display permanently. To personalize a cube, select Options > Personalize.

Use the Dimensions tab to change the default dimensions that appear when you open the form.

Use the Measures tab to add or remove measures.
