Succession profiles

When evaluating resources, it is helpful to create a document that summarizes the resource's qualifications. The document can be viewed outside of Succession Management. A succession profile can be created from several Succession Management forms for this purpose. You can access the succession profile for a resource through the Talent Pools or Succession Pools tabs on Succession Plan.

You must create a template for the profile that contains fields for the information to include on the profile. The template must be in rich text file (.rtf) format. You can add the fields to the template file and save in the .rtf format. You can select the template file from these locations:

  • Manage Talent Pools
  • Manage Positions
  • Talent Pools tab on Succession Plan
  • Succession Pool tab on Succession Plan

The succession planning profile is not stored anywhere in Succession Management, but you can save the file to a local drive.
