Retention risks

A retention risk rating is an indication of the likelihood that a resource is going to leave the organization. Succession Management provides the capability to assign a risk level and reason to a resource and comments about why the resource is a retention risk.

Retention risk ratings are composed of a risk level, a reason, and a comment. The risk levels are numeric values. The retention risk reasons are set up by the system administrator. Both the risk level and reasons are applied to resources by the administrator or HR generalist. Managers and employees cannot see these codes when they use Manager Space or Employee Space.

The risk level for a resource is compared to the alert level you define for your organization. If a resource's risk level is at or above the alert level, an alert is displayed on the resource's record throughout Succession Management.
