Analytical or cube reports

A cube report enables a user to manipulate the view of data to answer specific business questions without altering the data itself. You have several options to change the view to analyze incident data. These are the available data queries:

  • Incident Analysis – use this report type to get this information:
    • Incidents by location, sorted by month
    • Recurrence of incidents by location, based on the Recurrence field in the incident report
    • Incident types by location, sorted by month
    • Lag in the date when incidents were reported. This value represents the average of the total number of days per location. Lag is calculated when the incident-reported date is later than the incident date.

    • Follow-ups that were completed on time, sorted by month
  • Employee Incident Analysis – use this report type to get this information:
    • Employee incidents by location
    • Employee incidents by injury or illness
    • Employee incidents by injury type
    • Employee incidents by position
    • Employee incident absences, as indicated by the number of employees who had incident-caused absences, grouped by the type of absence
    • Employee average days away from work. This is the average number of days that employees for each location were away from work and restricted due to an incident

  • Causal Analysis – use this report type to get this information:

    • Employees by causal factor, as indicated by the number of employees impacted by an incident. The count includes only employees who had follow-up tasks that were marked as corrective actions. The report is sorted by the entry in the Causal Factors field when assigning the corrective action
    • Incidents by root cause, as indicated by the number of follow-up tasks that were marked as corrective actions, grouped by Root, Direct and Indirect
    • Corrective actions by causal factor. This value number of corrective actions, which are grouped by the causal factors that were identified by their associated safety codes.
  • Safe Behavior Analysis – use this report type to get this information:
    • Safe behaviors by location
    • Safe behaviors by category, as indicated by the count of safe-behavior records grouped by categories identified by safety codes
    • Safe behaviors by position

Refresh reports frequently to obtain new data that was added to the underlying data set.

You can sometimes view additional data for a given value or number in a report by clicking the value. This feature is not available for all reports.
