Assigning a follow-up task manually

You must have the Safety Administrator or Facility Manager role to edit the incident record.
  1. Sign in as Health & Safety Management or Health & Safety Facility Management.
  2. Select Safety Management > Safety Incidents or Safety Management > Near Miss Incidents.
  3. On the Active tab, open an incident record.
  4. Select the Follow Up Tasks tab.
View the Follow Up Tasks, Activities, and Health Components panes.
  5. On the Follow Up Tasks pane, click Create Follow Up.
  6. Complete these fields:
    Follow Up Task
Select a task from the list that your organization has made available. If a task was set up to include activities or health components, then these are displayed on the task-selection page. If a suitable task is not available, then you can create one. See Creating follow-up tasks.
Note: Your administrator can use the Employee Development setting to configure the source of the activities that are offered in this field. See the Infor HR Talent Setup and Administration Guide.
    Due Date
Specify the date by which the task should be completed.
    Employee Assigned
If an employee needs to be assigned to the task, then specify the employee. You can assign only employees for whom a case has been established for this incident.
  7. Click Submit.
Users can view their assignment to the follow-up task on the incident record. Incident processing cannot be completed until all follow-up tasks are finished.

If an assigned task included an activity or health component, then this is also assigned and is displayed in the appropriate Activities or Health Components pane. Each pane specifies the employees who are assigned and the tasks that they must perform.

A safety administrator can remove the activity from the task. Doing so does not delete the activity itself. The activity remains assigned to the employee.
