Working with observations that are in review

In-review observations are observations that are being evaluated to determine validity. Evaluation is conducted by a facility manager, a safety administrator, or an assigned investigator.
  1. Sign in as Health & Safety Management.
  2. Select Observation Log.
  3. On the In Review tab, select a record.
  4. Optionally, open the record to view details, notes, and attachments for the observation.
    Observation records cannot be edited. Click the browser Back button to return to the In Review tab.
  5. Click one of these actions:
    • Generate Incident causes an incident record to be created from this record.
    • Attach To Incident you can combine duplicate observations that were reported by multiple employees.
    • Assign Investigator causes the observation record to move to the In Review tab with an assigned investigator.
    • Close Observation causes the observation record to move to the History tab with no further action that is required.
    Actions are sometimes located within More Actions (ellipsis).
