Defining establishments

Establishments can be defined for OSHA reporting (US only) and to support COVID-19 reporting.
  1. Sign in as Health & Safety Management.
  2. Select Set Up > Safety > Report Configurations > OSHA > Establishments.
  3. Click Create. This action is displayed if the OSHA field is selected in the Country Configurable field in Organization configuration
  4. Specify this information:
    Establishment
    Specify a unique code for the establishment.
    Description
    Specify a name for the establishment.
    Employer Identification Number
    Provide the Employer Identification Number (EIN) for this establishment. The EIN is displayed on these reports:
    • OSHA 300A CSV report
    • OSHA 300 PDF generated report
    • OSHA 300, 300A and 301 lists and forms
    • OSHA Establishment Year Data form
  5. On the Details tab, specify this information:
    SIC or NAICS

    Specify at least one of these values, if any have been defined for the country where the establishment is located.

    See SIC and NAICS identifiers for industry groups.

    Country

    Select the country code.

    Establishment Type
    Select Not A Government Entity, State Government Entity, or Federal Government Entity.
  6. On the Address tab, specify the address, city, and state for the establishment.
  7. Click Save to enable the Locations tab.
  8. On the Locations tab, select a location to associate to the establishment.
  9. On the COVID-19 Contact tab, specify contact information for one or more people who can respond to inquiries about the organization’s COVID-19 metrics.
  10. Click Save.
