Assigning a follow-up task from a template

You must have the Safety Administrator or Facility Manager role to edit the incident record.
  1. Sign in as Health & Safety Management or Health & Safety Facility Management.
  2. Select Safety Management > Safety Incidents or Safety Management > Near Miss Incidents.
  3. On the Active tab, open an incident record.
  4. Select the Follow Up Tasks tab.
    View the Follow Up Tasks, Activities, and Health Components panes.
  5. On the Follow Up Tasks pane, click Create From Template.
  6. Complete these fields:
    Template
    Select a template from the library that your organization has created. A template is a group of related follow-up tasks that can be assigned simultaneously. If a suitable template is not available, then you can create one.

    Due Date
    Specify the date by which the task should be completed.
    Employee
    If an employee needs to be assigned to the tasks, then specify the employee. You can assign only employees for whom a case has been established for this incident.
  7. Click Submit.
    The follow-up tasks are displayed on the Follow Up Tasks pane on the incident’s Follow Up Tasks tab. Incident processing cannot be completed until all follow-up tasks are finished.

    If an assigned task included an activity or health component, then this is also assigned and is displayed in the appropriate Activities or Health Components pane. Each pane specifies the employees who are assigned and the tasks that they must perform.
