Generating data for an OSHA report

Perform this task to generate a CSV or Excel file that contains OSHA data for an establishment.
Note: The functionality for report generation is provided by Infor Landmark Technology. See its documentation for additional information.
  1. Sign in as Health & Safety Management.
  2. Select Reports > Safety Reports > OSHA.
    The OSHA Establishments page is displayed.
  3. On the upper pane, highlight the row of the establishment.
  4. On the OSHA Reports pane, click the report name within the row that represents the year for the report.
    Report options are:
    • OSHA 300A
    • OSHA 300
    • OSHA 301

    If no row is available for the establishment and the year, then create the data. See Creating establishment-year data.

  5. On the resulting page, select the scope for the report.
  6. Click the Generate OSHA {report name} CSV action.
    Note: On the OSHA 300A page, click the 300A CSV tab to find this action.
  7. Specify this information:
    Format
    Select one of these:
    • CSV (comma-separated-values text file)
    • Excel
    Name
    Optionally, specify a customized name for the file.
    Headers
    Specify what to display in column headers:
    • Field ID - the database identifier. For example, Establishment.Address.StateProvince.
    • Field Label - the human-friendlier name. For example, Where The Event Occurred.
      Note: The field-label option makes the exported data file ineligible for import.
    All Records
    Select this option to include all records, regardless of the file size that may result.
    Record Limit
    Select this option to cap the number of records to return. Selecting this can prevent issues with timeouts or email limits. Optionally, select the maximum number of records to include in the numeric field.
    Report Distribution Group
    Optionally, select a pre-defined report distribution group to receive the file by email.
  8. Optionally, click Schedule to generate the file at a later time.
  9. Click Export to generate the file.
    The file is saved and is also sent to the distribution group, if you specified one. You can access the Print Files page immediately by clicking the link that displays briefly in a message.
  10. On the Print Files page, open the row for the report.
  11. Click View to download the file.
    If Microsoft Excel is installed on your computer, then it is launched when you double-click Download.
