Onboarding Tour process

Your organization must be configured to interface with Infor HR Service Delivery. The setup and configuration tasks are described in the Infor HR Talent Integration Guide for Infor HR Service Delivery. in the Infor HR Talent Integrations Documentation Library.

If your organization is configured to interface with Infor HR Service Delivery, the Onboarding Tour process gets triggered automatically when a new employee is hired, whether the hire request originated in Talent Acquisition or in Infor HR Talent.

  1. New employees receive an email inviting them to complete the Onboarding Tour. The email includes a link with instructions on how to access the Onboarding Tour. The user credentials are the Infor Workspace/Infor Rich Client user credentials that have been assigned to the employee.
  2. Upon accessing Infor HR Service Delivery, the newly hired employee is guided to complete the Onboarding Tour. The tour is configurable by your organization. For example, the tour can be used to collect tax, emergency contact, and banking information.
  3. While the tour is in progress, the manager or administrator can view the status from the On Board tab. The Update On Boarding Status action can refresh the status instantly. To view more details, the manager can access the Infor HR Service Delivery Manager Console directly. (From Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le, click HR to access Infor HR Service Delivery.) The administrator also has Admin access to Infor HR Service Delivery.
    Note: The On Board tab is available only if your organization is configured to use Infor HR Service Delivery.
  4. When the employee completes the tour, the employee profile in Infor HR Talent is updated with the collected information.
    Note: If the collected information is confidential, only the administrator can see it on the employee's profile. For example, the bank information.
