Action rules for holiday time records

  • The eligibility group, country, and location on the holiday schedule select current active work assignments to be processed. If a Holiday Schedule Override exists on an Employee’s work assignment, the Holiday dates and associated options from that override schedule are used for creating holiday time records instead of the dates and options for the Holiday Schedule derived from the Work Assignment Location information.

  • Time records are created for each paid holiday in the date range and hours are entered on the schedule for the employee’s work type.

  • Time records are not created for dates prior to the date on which the work assignment was created.

  • Duplicate Holiday Time Records are not created (for example, if running the action more than once) but they are created regardless of other time records that may exist (such as Standard time records, time off, hours entered by employees, etc.).

  • Hours are prorated by FTE (Hours * (FTE/TotalFTE)).

  • If Pay Code is set to View Only, employees and managers cannot update or delete holiday time records. The Pay Code on time records created from holiday schedules cannot be changed.
