Action rules for standard time records

  • The eligibility group on the standard hours schedule selects current active work assignments to be processed.

  • Time records are created for each date in the date range within the schedule’s date range if the hours have been entered on the schedule for that day in the cycle.

  • If the day falls on a holiday, the standard time record is created only if the office is open, based on the holiday schedule for the employee’s country/location. If a Holiday Schedule Override exists on an Employee’s work assignment, the Holiday dates and associated options from that schedule are used for creating standard time records instead of the dates and options for the Holiday Schedule derived from the Work Assignment Location information.

  • Time records are not created for dates prior to when the work assignment was created.

  • Duplicate Standard Time Records are not created (for example, if running the action more than once). They are created regardless of other time records that may exist (such as Holiday time, time off, hours entered by employees, etc.).

  • A standard time record is not created if there is a full day time off request (Status = Requested or Approved) for that day. An error is created.

  • A standard time record is not created if there is a leave of absence (Status = Requested, Approved, On Leave, Completed) for that day. An error is created.
