Credentials

Competency Management uses credentials to track any renewable certification or license. For example, an organization that employs drivers would want to track their driver licenses.

Credentials can also be imported during the recruiting process as part of the candidate's profile. Employees and managers can add credentials to an employee's talent profile.

• To have notifications sent when an employee, manager, or administrator performs an action related to a credential, you should set up email automation for these actions.

• If you want action reasons to be specified, you must create reason codes for these subjects:

  HCMActionRequestQualification	Use for all actions except Cancel actions.
  HCMQualificationCancel	Use for the Cancel Request To Renew Credential action.

You can define and update a credential, validate a credential, renew a credential, and cancel a request to renew a credential.
