Screening

Your organization might use screening packages to perform assessments and background checks. Within a permitted role, you can:

  • Set up screening codes. These roles can perform setup:

    • HR administrator

    • Recruiter administrator

  • Set up screening eligibility groups. For resources, set business class = WorkAssignment and subject = HCMGroupScreening. For candidates, set business class=JobApplication and subject = HCMGroupScreening. These roles can perform setup:
    • HR administrator

    • Recruiter administrator

  • Assign packages manually, if packages are not auto assigned.. Internal candidates who have already been submitted to a screening will not be re-assigned to the same screening. The assigned packages have a status of Proposed. These roles can assign a package:

    • (Mass assign - resources) HR administrator

    • (Mass assign - candidates) Recruiter administrator

    • (Single assign - resource) HR Generalist

    • (Single assign - candidate) Recruiter

  • Send screening packages to third-party vendors, if third-party vendors are involved. The third-party vendor returns an acknowledgment that all required data has been received and the packages are moved to the In Progress status. These roles can request a screening:

    • (Mass send - resources) HR administrator

    • (Mass send - candidates) Recruiter administrator

    • (Single send - resource) HR administrator

    • (Single send - candidate) Recruiter administrator

    • (Single send - resource) HR Generalist (Single send - candidate) Recruiter

  • Request screening results from third-party vendors, if third-party vendors are involved. When results are returned by third-party vendor, the packages are moved to Completed status. These roles can request results:

    • (Mass request results resources) HR administrator

    • (Mass request - candidates) Recruiter administrator

    • (Single request - resource) HR administrator

    • (Single request - candidate) Recruiter administrator

    • (Single request - resource) HR Generalist

    • (Single request - candidate) Recruiter

    If no third-party vendors are involved, specify results on the assessment or background check form.
